Being with you for a short time is still FUN

A simple "Hi", "Hello", "It's nice to meet you."  and a short conversation creates a friendship. This is followed with different enjoyable activities where laughters, chatters and different experiences are shared. Soon enough, plans of trips and going out come in and friendship gets deeper and deeper.

For  the last few months, I couldn't expect to experience the things I experience when I was still on the floor, facing the students, teaching them the English language. It was the time when I could say meeting new students and making new friends every after weeks past and loosing them after a few weeks of studying is a common experience. It is in ESL industry, it is in being an ESL teacher that this things could be experienced.

It is usually uncommon to get close to the students when you are working in the office. Students and teacher would always think of you as part of the management and that usually makes them feel awkward to approach you. But, somehow, my recent experience proved that wrong. I have met students who treated me a friend and whom I treat as friends too. How great it is to have fun friends whom you could share your interest with.

Unfortunately, they don't usually stay for a long time. After a few weeks or months, they would leave and go on to the next journey of their lives. That would mean leaving you behind with all the memories you shared whether good or bad. Then "Good byes", "Farewells", "See you someday" starts coming out from the mouth with "thank you's, teary eyes and hearts filled with pain. And this happens from time to time. This is a painful part of an ESL experience. But life's greatest gift will not come to you without taking risk. Even if I know it's painful, I would still welcome these people in my life.
